Easily installs on 1/2 in or 3/4 in main cold water line, reduces sediment including dirt, sand, silt, rust and scale particles to extend life of household fixtures and appliances. Eliminates need for additional shut-off valves on cold water lines, half-turn of handle on filter cap shuts off water flow to filter for hassle-free cartridge replacement. Clear to allow monitoring of cartridge life. Dynamic sealing, self-cleaning O-ring prevent leaks and clogging.
